VISION
Exactly what is vision? It is the art of seeing things that are invisible – the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom. Other words that are synonymous are imagination, creativity, creative power of seeing, field of vision, and perspective. No doubt you can think of visionaries that you may know. Can you name at least three (3) visionaries that are in your circle of influence?
I often think about how our parents, our siblings, our church families, our national leaders (there is so much to be said about our first African American president, President Obama) and our local business owners, are examples of true visionaries.
What is your vision? How do you envision your life, your position, your contributions to society—a year, five (5) years, ten (10) years from now? Are we all, in essence, visionaries?
